Nishant Chaubey

  • Chef Nishant Choubey first rose to fame as a Master Chef by the Works Gourmet Summit in Singapore.He is a consulting Chef for Michelin plated Indus, in Bangkok. He is also Iron chef Bangkok 2018.His first appointment was with the Oberoi group of hotels, and then he worked with Jumeirah group as part of the pre-opening team for Madinat Jumeriah. He was again part of the pre- opening team for Olive Beach and Japanese restaurant Ai and Lap. Before joining Dusit Devrana new Delhi , he worked at the celebrity restaurant Cibo.

  • Chef of the year award by Outlook Travellers International 2015.
  • Won 1st prize at the Bonus d’ Or competition held at Ashoka Hotel- December 2009
  • Participated in Master Chef classes at the World Gourmet Summit, Singapore(April 2000 and April 2006), which was attended by the top 12 Chefs from around the Globe.
  • Presently doing a program on Zee business called The Great Chefs of India.
  • Won gold medal at Aahar 2013 in the innovation category.
  • Cooked an 8 course tasting menu for BBC Good Food 2014 at Grand Vasant Kunj.
  • Represented India at the Madrid Fusion 2015.
  • Won the Chef of the Year 2015 by Outlook Traveler.
  • Awarded the Grand Avant Chef Award by Rinku Madan.
  • Writing a book on Ayurveda linked food gastronomy in association with Roli Books.
  • Created a historic pop up at Indus Bangkok on progressive Indian Cuisine.
